Dream of Becoming a Young Social Entrepreneur: The Work Together Foundation is With You! - The WT to hold social entrepreneur training project briefing session

As the Work Together Foundation has been commissioned to lead a social entrepreneur training project (organized by the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency), it will carry out the social venture incubating project once again this year.

The recruitment process began with a call for applications (by March 30th). After carefully screening all applications, 42 teams were selected. Interviews and preliminary training followed to narrow down the candidates to a final 28 teams.

On March 20th and 27th, prior to the call for applicants, the foundation held project briefing sessions to promote and raise awareness of the social entrepreneur training project.

The project briefing session started off with participant registration, followed by brochure distribution and a video presentation on social venture. Although the project briefing session was held in the evening on a cold day, more than 50 participants gathered to hear details about the recruitment process.

Social enterprise start-up support team head, Dong-Lyul JANG, hosted the seminar and gave a presentation on the foundation and social venture incubating center. He also guided the audience through practical information on start-up space, incubating programs and preliminary training, as well as providing tips for filling out the application properly. A question and answer session followed.
