"Let’s give wings to social entrepreneurs” project (2008-2009)
KIM, Young Suk (the senior director of the management support team) was in charge of this ceremony and presided over the following events: a progress report of the international study tour, awarding certification, and then a commemorative photography session.
KIM, Do Young (the director of the CSR team at SK Telecom) made a short speech supporting this project. He explained that interest in social enterprises has expanded to various business fields and emphasized the importance of the role of the participants in developing social entrepreneurs from the bottom up. He also encouraged the study tour team to learn a lot of things from this global study tour.
LEE, Eun Ae (managing director of the Work Together Foundation) advised them to share the information and learning obtained from this international study tour with a lot people. Considering the low understanding of social enterprise in
KWEN, GU Hyoung (the head of the Seoul-Nambu Job Center) expressed his impression that this study tour is highly expected since the participants come both non-profit organizations and the government.
Later, KIM, Do Young and LEE, Eun Ae encouraged the five International study tour teams and granted a certificate of support and flags for international study to them. The participants attached small model airplanes to each country on the world map on an acrylic panel. After the study tour team finished the ceremony, they had dinner and then participated in an open forum with the theme of “a changing future, new industries and social entrepreneurs.”
