<Social Impact>

Social Mission & Purpose

As a social enterprise leading fair trade in Korea, we contribute to building a sustainable society as we trade clothes and goods made by poor women in Asia, and support their economic independence.

Country or Area of Focus Nepal, Bangladesh, India, Laos


<Objective>

- For the alternative development of poor countries, we put price-premium on the products which use eco-friendly traditional ways of manufacturing and promote the purchase of them

- We accept the ‘protection of the environment and health’ principle, and apply environmental guidelines in every stage of product manufacturing and selling.



<Strength / Achievement>

- We make fair trade with 20 organizations centered on woman in Nepal and Bangladesh mainly, and other countries such as India, Laos, and Peru

- Even though we have only a small amount of trade for now, we make equal partnerships with local producing women and give them job securely.

- We have a supporting producers project; supporting child care center’s operating costs for the young working moms in Bangladesh, providing sewing machines to workers in Laos to improve their capabilities and working conditions


<Sustainable Method>

- We focus on creating jobs for poor women in underdeveloped countries, while we make them financially independent by purchasing products at fair prices

- We built another fund, and provide support to improve their quality of life (ex. education,facilities, etc.)

- We reinvest profits from the business to expand fair trade

- We develop and apply our own guidelines for products to minimize environmental pollution and reinforce eco-friendly sustainable development (raw material, dyes, packing material, etc.)
