The Inaugural Session of
the Committee for Citizens’ Donation Festival
The Work Together Foundation had its inaugural session of the Committee for Citizens’ Donation Festival, which raises funds for deprived neighbors by expanding the culture of sharing with Good Neighbors, Good People, Save the Children, UNICEF, and World Vision on 16th of April.
SONG, Wol Joo, the chairman of the WT Foundation, HA, Kum Loul, president of SBS (Seoul Broadcasting System) and other celebrities participated in this session. Diverse fundraising events are planned, such as the Seoul Citizen Plaza Festival, dramas, concerts, and fundraising campaign broadcasting for the whole month of May.
With the funds raised from this festival, the WT Foundation plans to support children and youths from poor families who urgently need financial assistance and to operate a self-support program for them.
